“ What is required is the willingness to let life impact you;
to let yourself “see” when life impacts you;
to see if you go into any sort of separation about it,
if you go into judgement,
if you go into blame,
if you go into “should or “shouldn’t “,
if you start to point the finger somewhere other than at yourself.”

Me: Can I use the bathroom? Teacher: I don't know, can you? Me: When I was using "can" I was using its secondary model form as a verbal modifier asking for permission, as opposed to expressing an ability. I thought since you were a teacher you'd know that. My bad. MAY I use the restroom?

I'm going to med school to be a doctor, specializing in cost effective treatment research and hopefully teaching in the community to make patients and healthcare professionals aware of the importance of having a fiducial relationship with one another. Sorry to bore you to death. Are you in school?

Yep… I’m a music major with emphasis on education. I guess that’s a funny way of saying it, but the way the program works- you’re a musician first, and an educator second… Kinda screwy

I'm a tool?

What if

I wanna let you know that most of the time I say “what if,” I usually mean “when.” I choose to use indecisive phrasing to accommodate other beliefs. I find that by using non-absolutes, others are more likely to consider what I’m saying. If I actually say “when,” some people will immediately close their mind to what I have to say.

“The most important things are the hardest things to say. They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them - words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when they’re brought out. But it’s more than that, isn’t it? The most important things lie too close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. And you may make revelations that cost you dearly only to have people look at you in a funny way, not understanding what you’ve said at all, or why you thought it was so important that you almost cried while you were saying it. That’s the worst, I think. When the secret stays locked within not for want of a teller, but for want of an understanding ear.” —Stephen King (via subtlelights)

Oh, no...

I have no idea what I’m doing! It makes me want to laugh, but I don’t want to because I’d rather get back to basics. This will be the steady…

“The first thing to understand about the universe is that no condition is “good” or “bad.” It just is. So stop making value judgments. The second thing to know is that all conditions are temporary. Nothing stays the same, nothing remains static. Which way a thing changes depends on you.” —

Neale Donald Walsch

“Your consciousness could be streaming into your brain from light years away, from another dimension. Your consciousness might as well be another dimension. If you really try and feel, feel everything at once, you can feel gravity pulling on you, seemingly more so on your skin than your bones. Your bones are as dry as a statue made of stone in the middle of the desert. Your consciousness could be flowing into you from another world. Your consciousness is not your consciousness. Or, your consciousness has never ever come in contact with your brain… your brain is just a satellite, a receiver. Maybe it’s just the pineal gland. Perhaps DMT is much more than what it seems to be. Perhaps DMT is a substance that really does allow you to see your consciousness.” —Pearson Philpot(Submitted by pearsonphilpot@gmail.com)
